what an underwhelming experience at this hotel, first of all the shower flooded my bathroom, leaving me to swim in my own misery. also, who would want to stay in a room with mosquitos? I almost gave a good review but the air conditioning was non-existant. where's my complimentary surprise for that?

The Comfort City View Room offered a beautiful view, but that’s about where the positives ended. The room felt cramped, with a dusty atmosphere that triggered my allergies. Windows wouldn’t open easily, and the air conditioning unit was barely effective. The bathroom layout was cramped – just a shower that soaked the entire area when used. I found the floor sticky. Safety was a concern as staff didn’t seem present around the clock, making me uneasy. Despite its central location near metro and tram stations, I needed to cut my stay short due to the issues. On day two, my allergies worsened, turning into a sinus infection. Too little space for luggage made it even more uncomfortable. While the central location is beneficial for access to main attractions, the room quality and cleanliness really fell short.

The hotel features a spacious lobby, making it accessible for seniors and allowing me to comfortably meet my family. The clean environment and modern decor added a welcoming atmosphere to my stay at Sotel Amsterdam Central Station.
